As part of the New Village philosophy, parents are encouraged to be part of an “exchange;” in other words, “giving back” to the NVLA community. Examples of exchange are through volunteering expertise at the school, funding a special assembly at the school, or organizing a program. There are many ways to express appreciation, and your creativity is welcomed. For example, weekly “Simon Says” contests conducted by a grandparent are a favorite with the students. Please contact the Head of School with ideas.
